4th Annual MLK Weekend of Service

Join us for the 4th Annual MLK Weekend of Service! We will be de-littering, noting and reporting any illegal dump sites and/or code enforcement issues.  Most importantly, it's a great way to engage with neighbors in the community. 

Schedule:

• Saturday, January 14th 10:00 - 12:00pm we will delitter MLK from the Westside Beltline to Mozley Park. Meet at the Hunter Hills sign at Chicamauga/MLK
• Sunday, January 15th finish any remaining segments along MLK Jr. Drive
• Monday, January 16th 9:00am - 11:45am we are partnering with WAWA to remove kudzu on the Lionel Hampton Trail. Meet at Rockmart cul-de-sac between 61 and 64 Rockmart Drive Northwest.

Guidelines: 

• Complete a Volunteer Waiver/Release form
• Dress for the weather
• Wear hard soled shoes if you can]
• Wear safety vests (disbursed and collected on-site)
• Bring work gloves; latex gloves will be on-site, if needed
• We do not pick up any PPE without gloves/grabbers
• We do not go onto private property
• All collected trash will be placed in designated staging area for pick up by Keep Atlanta Beautiful
