About the Event

The Neighborhood Challenge is a fun & friendly golf competition between Atlanta in-town neighborhoods.  Neighborhoods from Adair Park & Ansley Park to Washington Park and all the neighborhoods in-between.

We are looking for a team of 4 to represent Hunter Hills! The details:

- they don’t have to be all Hunter Hills residents, but if possible we’d love it, and...

- they don’t even need to know how to play Golf, just think of it as an entry to learn while having a good time and representing their neighborhood.

If you are interested in registering as a team of 4 please denote Hunter Hills. If you are looking to join a team of 4 please contact president@historichunterhills.org

Proceeds from The Neighborhood Challenge are going to support First Tee Metro Atlanta, and Committed To Communities:

  • First Tee is a youth development organization enabling kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges.  By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, they create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do. Building Game Changers through their junior golf programs.
  • Committed To Communities: started as a community wide open house event, designed to work with existing residents to draw attention to some parts of in-town Atlanta that hadn’t seen good attention/development in years.  After the market changed around 2015, the need shifted to drawing resources and guidance for long time renters of these same neighborhoods to become homeowners while it was still affordable.  March of 2020 we shut down because of Covid-19, but with the help of The Neighborhood Challenge, we’ll be re-establish to continue to impact the same individuals to live an American dream, with affordable and safe housing.
