Mosquito's Positive for West Nile Virus at Washington Park - Solutions in Place!
We were just notified that there are three positive WNV mosquito pools, one of these being located in Washington Park. Bug Busters will be spraying at night once a week for approximately four weeks depending on the weather. Below are the maps of ½ mile radius of the area where Bug Busters will be spraying.
Galen Baxter, our District Environmental Health Director will be visiting our neighborhood to provide awareness to the communities of the positive test results in that area and education on preventing mosquito bites and breeding areas around your homes. Some resources can be found below. At this time, they are in the process of having signage printed up to place in the parks where positive mosquito pools are found; however, they will not be ready in time to post at these locations now.
If anyone has any specific questions about the spraying operation, such as when they will be in each location, please reach out to Court Parker, Rick Anglian or Michael Pothier with Bug Busters at: (770) 517-0200. Or you can email them at: court@bugbustersusa.com or ranglian@bugbustersusa.com or mpothier@bugbustersusa.com.
