Next|Gen Virtual Mentorship Program

The Seamón Family Foundation and Seamón Enterprises & Entertainment Co. funds & facilitates programming for the “Next|Gen Professional” mentees, which is our network of young professionals (mentees under 30) who have registered with our virtual BizNet. The side|by|side of the Next|Gen depicts the strength and wisdom of GENerations of ancestors & elders | NEXT to the tenacity and power of the NEXT GENerations, organizing together! Next|Generation These mentees are beyond excited to learn more about the professions that they often only see from a distance, and at times appear to be out of their reach. For example…the intake forms for 3 of the young professionals expressed that they would like to learn more from a virtual mentor about becoming a film director, and also requested the process for successfully submitting their work to film festivals and the like. Other aspiring professionals in the Next|Gen mentorship program have expressed interest in:

...and that’s just to name a few when asked what they would like to learn more about. Many of these Next|Gen members have already begun initiating their marks in their chosen fields with college credits, internships, apprenticeships, or other practical experience. We are partnering with local and surrounding area business owners to provide them with resources and support that will help move them ahead of the curve. If you accept our invitation to join our BizNet Professionals’ Network, your presence will give these young professionals an opportunity to virtually submit 2-3 questions, to experienced business owners and creatives like yourself, and in turn, each mentor replies to the request with a written (or virtual) response, rewarding the mentee with this act of priceless exposure to information that many of us could not equitably access before being able to make a dent in our careers… A virtual hand-up, so to speak. Our online BizNet platform will keep your contact information confidential, and (when you agree) upon request, a mentee would get a notification that a virtual Professional Mentor has joined the network in an area of their interest. Then, the mentee would be able to submit one virtual Q&A request through a BizNet administrator, which would then be forwarded to you, via email or through the BizNet platform portal. The time-commitment amounts to an option of 15-30 minutes, donated (weekly, monthly, or quarterly), to give back to young professionals that have requested a Q&A with a virtual mentor. Our mentee database is growing daily, and we would be honored to have you as a BizNet Professional (Virtual) Mentor. We also have a Writers’ Cohort, Grant-Writing workshops, virtual panel discussions, and more. If you have logged into our SE&E Co. website, subscribed, donated, or purchased merchandise - you may already have a profile - and can log in with your email or social media.
